Vals Quartzite Stone is also known as mica quartzite. It has a distinct fine-veined texture. This stone is very solid, compact and frost-resistantThe stone can either be vein cut (against the grain) or fleuri cut (with the grain) and is suitable for both internal and external floor, wall and paving applications. The stone has been a preferred choice of top architects around the world including Peter Zumthor who designed the famous Therme Spa of Vals, built top to bottom in Vals Quartzite.
